Work and collaboration in projects:
In 2016-2018 Participated as an expert in the project "Study of the geographical features of the distribution of water quality in the Kyrgyz Republic in order to provide the population with drinking water.
Kyrgyzhydromet worked in projects, "Cryosphere Ice Climate Services for improved Adaptation" (CICADA - "Cryosphere Ice Climate Services for improved Adaptation"). Before that, they worked closely with projects such as the World Glacier Monitoring Service (WGMS) within the framework of the CICADA project (continued of the CATCOS project) “Capacity Building and Connecting Climate Observation Systems”, led by the Swiss meteorological service MeteoSwiss, Kyrgyzhydromet with CAIAG staff, carried out expeditionary work to measure the mass balance on the Golubin, Abramov, West Suek and Glacier No. 354 glaciers. Within the framework of the project of the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FINKMET), the same research work was carried out on the Turgen-Aksuu glacier.
According to the project "Reducing the vulnerability of the population in the Central Asian region from the outburst of glacial lakes in the face of climate change" (GLOFCA) - 2021-2026.
The main direction of scientific research is limnology, glacial lakes, glaciology and water resources.
Professional development and trainings
In August 2014, trained in glacier mass balance calculation and fieldwork methods in Kyrgyzstan within the framework of the project "Capacity Building and Twinning for Climate Observing Systems" (CATCOS - "Capacity Building and Twinning for Climate Observing Systems", 2013-2015).
