May 16-17 2019, in Bishkek, in the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic held an international seminar on "Modeling climate change in Central Asia", organized by the European Commission project "Central Asian research and education network CAREN3" together with the Institute of water problems and hydropower of NAS KR and the Central Asian Institute for applied Geosciences(CAIAG).

Participants of the seminar had the opportunity to visit the Central Asian Institute of applied earth research. CAIAG staff told the guests about the activities of the Institute and the ongoing and completed projects, as well as demonstrated the early warning system and a library in the new laboratory building.
