Disaster risk reduction and early warning systems.

April 10 and April 16, 2019 training hold on the international project "Reducing the vulnerability of the population in the Central Asian region to the breakthrough of glacial lakes under climate change"(UNESCO). Within which it is planned to carry out work to determine the current characteristics and predict water availability, quality and risks associated with glacial water in mountain river basins.

An employee of the 2nd Department of CAIAG “Climate, Water and Natural Resources” Dayrov Mirlan, conducted seminars on issues related to water resources, glaciers on this project for local communities of Issykatinsky and Sokuluk districts of Chui oblast.
