Adventure of Science: Women and Glaciers in Central Asia

On 25-August 2022 in the Central Asian Institute of Applied Geosciences (CAIAG) a round table under the project "Adventure of Science: Women and Glaciers in Central Asia" was held in cooperation with the UNESCO Almaty Office.

Bolot Duishenalievich Moldobekov, co-director of CAIAG made an opening speech and there were invited speakers:

Diana Aripkhanova - UNESCO

Zhaniya Khaibullina – Central Asia Youth for Water

Ekaterina Sahvaeva – Kyrgyz Research Institute of Irrigation

Lisa Gampp  - Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation

In the summarizing the results, roundtable participants asked questions and expressed the importance of the issues that were raised and the benefits of discussing them.
