CAIAG Expands Cooperation with Hungarian Colleagues

On March 11, 2026, Beata Fáhl, Cultural and Educational Diplomat of the Embassy of Hungary in Bishkek, visited the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences.

The department heads presented information about the institute and the results of projects, including the information systems developed there for seismic risk monitoring, glacier and water resources data collection, and the expansion of international cooperation. They also introduced the CAIAG infrastructure.

Diplomat Beata Fáhl spoke about the Embassy's contribution to strengthening cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary in science and education.

The parties discussed the possibility of implementing a new initiative to present a publications by the Hungarian geographer on his research in Kyrgyzstan and other forms of professional partnership between scientists from the two countries.

Beata Fahl also donated books in Kyrgyz, Russian, and English to the institute.
