16th Meeting of the CAIAG Advisory Board was held on June 4, 2025
On June 4, 2025, the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences (CAIAG) held the 16th meeting of its Advisory Board in a hybrid format.
The meeting brought together Advisory Board members from Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Uzbekistan, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. Department heads presented comprehensive reports on the Institute’s activities in 2024, highlighting progress in geodynamics, geo-risks, climate and water resource research, monitoring systems, and scientific collaboration. Particular attention was given to work on landslide and mudflow processes, climate change impacts, hydrology, and the development of regional monitoring and data-sharing systems.
The Advisory Board highly appreciated the Institute’s scientific achievements, successful project implementation, and the expansion of regional and international cooperation.
