CAIAG Co-Director Bolot Moldobekov Participated in Discussion on Mitigating Climate Change Impacts on Natural Resources
On September 16–17, 2026, co-director of the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences Bolot Moldobekov participated in an international scientific-practical conference in Tashkent titled "Ways to Mitigate the Impact of Climate Change on Natural Resources in Central Asia for Sustainable Development".
Researchers from across Central Asia discussed issues regarding the reduction of climate change impacts.
Scientists engaged in the exchange of knowledge and experience, established professional connections, and fostered scientific cooperation.
The Hydrometeorological Research Institute acknowledged the presentation and active participation of CAIAG co-director Bolot Duishonalievich in the discussions, noting: "Your presence and professional exchange of views made a significant contribution to the successful conduct of the conference".
The conference was organized by the Hydrometeorological Research Institute at Green University in collaboration with UNESCO, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO), the International Organization for Migration, the University of Reading (UK), Kyoto University (Japan), the University of Freiburg (Switzerland), and the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ, Germany).
