Tien Shan in the research of Hungarian scientists

On May 21, Hungarian geographer, historian of science, and Honorary Director of the Hungarian Geographical Museum (Érd), Professor Dr. János Kubassek, and Diplomat for Culture and Education at the Hungarian Embassy in Bishkek, Beata Fáhl, visited the Central Asian Institute for Applied Geosciences.

CAIAG Co-Director Bolot Moldobekov introduced the guests to the institute's activities, monitoring sites, and the developments implemented in practice.

Dr. János Kubassek expressed interest in the expeditions of György Almásy and Gyula Prinz to Kyrgyzstan in the early 20th century and in the work being done to publish the history of Hungarian scientists' research.

The parties discussed the possibility of expanding their collaboration for joint research.
