AUCA Students Learn About CAIAG's Activities
On April 17, third- and fourth-year students majoring in environmental sciences at the American University of Central Asia visited the Central Asian Institute Applied Geosciences.
Professor Sheishenaly Usupaev spoke about the history of CAIAG, its goals, and research areas, and answered questions.
Engineer Talant Altynbek uulu presented on the institute's seismic early warning system. Sergey Barkalov, Head of the Information Technology Section, demonstrated the institute's infrastructure for monitoring and data management.
The students also met with CAIAG Co-Director Bolot Moldobekov.
